The Final Stretch!

The school year is almost over ... seems like August was just last week! This year has flown by. Take a moment and reflect back on all the little achievements your child has accomplished this year. It might be that they learned how to write their name, or maybe tie a shoe. Others may be thinking back on the time when your child read a whole page ... all by himself ... for the very first time! Remember those moments. Write them down. Take them out and read them when you are having a bad day. Remember the good in the middle of the hard times. It will take the edge off the hard times, it might even take the edge off of your voice therefore bringing both of you back to normal a lot faster.

We all falter, we all get discouraged, but take heart. Even if the steps are baby steps, things are getting better, slowly but surely. Just keep on keepin' on.
